Southeast Asia is the place of origin of most spices, the reason why the great navigations began and is very poorly represented, without a civ of its own or even smaller natives of their own.
I suggest that this civ be a civ from the far east or southeast Asia (something too close to the Middle East for example would be strange), preferably the Siameses (a colonialist civ of the region) or the Majapahit Empire of Indonesia (a well-developed civ within the game being a revolution civ). There's a civ missing representing The Asian Dinasties. The DE brought a new Native American civ (representing The War Chiefs) and a new European civ (representing the original game). DLC and launch another civ that is a post-independence American country, and the only two options good enough are Brazil or Mexico. In fact, I would say that there are three options for this new civ. There are people seeing signs everywhere, before the announcement of The African Royals there were a lot of people finding a lot of signs of a possible Italian civ in the editor.
Something like the Mission 'Bad News' from AoM might be more interesting. I also reckon the Co-op battle will be a Portuguese foray into South Eastern Africa or something to do with the Boer wars. But then I didn't see Hausa being added (But was correct on Ethiopia) so we will see. Of those I see Persia, Mali, Morocco or Kongo most likely. So what do we think? With the new Swahili map I am guessing maybe Mombasa is being added? New never before seen game mode I am guessing is Battle Royale like they did for AoE2.
